2008 season is now well underway and the weather conditions have once
again proven absolutely ideal for ballooning. The valley is
lush and green thanks to ex tropical cylone 'Pancho' which deposited
about 60mm's of rain around the valley on the 1st of April. Autumn and
in particular April is normally one of the most reliable times for near
perfect weather conditions for ballooning.
On
Saturday night February 16th Windward were announced Winners of the
2007 Elite Tourism Awards in the category Tour & Transport
Operator!
